How to operate your Mobilesource Phone

Calling the USA
All calls start with "00", then dial Country code + area code + telephone number.
Example: To call USA: Start with "00"+ 1 (country) + 561 (area) + phone number. 00-1-561-416-7224 and then press send.

Calling locally/domestically while abroad:
Dial "00" then Country code + telephone number. Example: To call Paris while in France: 00+33 (country) + (city code) + phone number.

Someone calling your phone number from the USA:
People that want to reach you, just have to dial the phone number. Sometimes area code 561 is necessary.

Getting your voicemails:
Dial "00"+ 1 + rental phone number. It may ask you to re-enter the rental phone number, so dial the rental phone number ONLY. NO "00" or "1" in front of the number, then follow the instructions. Your Password is the LAST FOUR DIGITS of the rental phone.

Satellite Phones

IRIDIUM

How to Dial:
To dial from an Iridium phone the dialing pattern is as fallows: 00-(country code)-(City code)-(phone number), then press send.

To dial an Iridium phone from a land line the dialing pattern is as fallows: 011- 12 digit Iridium phone number.
Voice Mail:

People can e-mail you FREE TEXT MESSAGES to your IRIDIUM RENTAL Phone:
Have them log on to www.iridium.com. On that web site, in the center, underneath the 9500 phone picture, they will see a lines entry that says: "Send a Satellite message". They will enter your 12 digit phone number: 8816-XXXX-XXXX on the top box; they can then type in a text message in the bigger box (although it says 120 characters max, realistically, they should limit it to 64 characters), and then SEND IT OUT. tHE COMPUTER SYSTEM AUTOMATICALLY RESENDS THE SAME TEXT MESSAGE 3 TIMES OVER EVERY 12 hour period; Hopefully, you will have turnes on your phone at least 3-4 times per day, and you will see the incoming text message within any 12 hour period. We recommend that the sender generate the message TWICE, to insure it will access the network to get to the phone. You shoult also SHUT OFF the phone once, and turning it back on, after each message viewing, in order to keep it "open" and "cleared" and able to receive future messages.

To see incoming messages: Have the phone "ON", then press MENU three time, until you see "MESSAGES", press "OK" then you will see "Call voicemail". DO NOT call VOICEMAIL; instead, press any of the left or right cursor arrows directly below the OK button, and you will see RECEIVED MESSAGES. Press OK then. Now you can "see" all you incoming messages and edit or delete them, one by one.
